For a DocumentCloud Add-On to be included in the public library of Add-Ons, it must go through a code review as Add-Ons have access to user and document information when a user runs an Add-On. We strive to have quality controls for our publicly accessible Add-Ons to both embrace the spirit of open source development while keeping code clean and re-usable for others seeking to adopt and develop their own Add-Ons.
