Rose Valley Trail Day

Join us at our first event of the season to learn about a newer climbing area and give back to community! The morning includes short presentations from local developer Chris Posiak and guidebook author Hanna Miller, as well as trail work near Rock Candy Wall, which has become overgrown since the 2023 West Kelowna wildfire. 📆 Date & time: March 14th, 2026 at 10:00am - 1:00pm 📍 Location: Near Rose Valley Reservoir (meeting location emailed after registration) 🔨 Materials to bring: If you have them, work gloves, bush/plant clippers and a small saw would be helpful ✔️ Accessibility: Requires the ability to navigate rocks, and uneven terrain. 20 minute hike includes steep sections of uphill and the day includes working on loose rocks and lifting heavy objects. Pace will be set so no one is left behind. 🏳️‍🌈 This event welcomes all genders & identities. ROC has a gender-inclusive focus and works with many people who identify outside of the gender binary. All participants are expected to not make assumptions, and show up as allies. 🧗🏽‍♀️ About the organizers: Rock On Collective empowers the Okanagan outdoor community through rock climbing mentorship and inclusive learning opportunities that foster meaningful connections with each other and the land.
