Plan and produce events such as mutual aid, food & donation drives, training, and socials. Mainly supporting events on the day of the event.

Coordinate community volunteerism—food drives, blood drives, support for underserved and at-risk groups. This is not a big team, and there's not much for volunteers to do.

Analyze and track bills, draft position papers, and create Calls to Action writing.

Volunteering on this team means volunteering on the day of the protest. There is a training to participate as a volunteer at the protests around de-escalation. This is in-person, but there may also be a video that volunteers can view if needed.

Set up and manage IUSC digital assets (email lists, forms, forums); ensure data integrity and security.

Needs to be tech savvy/already trained.

Manage IUSC volunteers—recruiting, onboarding, training, and community assimilation.

The VMT is looking to add more interviewers who will contact potential volunteers.Will need to be personable.

Make calls and/or knock on doors to encourage action, register voters, and promote social justice.

VET is looking for a Co-Leader IF the person has VAN experience. Otherwise, looking for an administrator-type person to assist the current leader.

Conducts organizational tasks associated with the Co-Directors of IUSC, such as emailing, meeting set up, and minute-taking, etc.

This team is NOT currently accepting any new volunteers; however, potential volunteers may go on a wait list, but we encourage them to sign up for another team in the meantime, at least.

This is a smaller team that requires researching and writing up calls to action at least once per week for most weeks. The volunteers choose a day of the week to commit to writing a call to action.

This is a group of volunteers who are willing to belong to a Signal Chat group where high-priority, fast-action-needed tasks are listed for them to pull and work on. Some are simple like reposting on social media, while others are more in-depth involving research and writing.

This team is managed by the Volunteer Management Team.
