The second application is designed for follow-up, enabling teams to track progress, link actions to observations, and ensure that necessary improvements are implemented.

The first step in this template is scheduling a Gemba walk. Each walk is assigned to a certain station and has a certain objective. For example: you want to check safety at an assembly line.

Once a walk is scheduled, it is open to add observations. An observation is something noticed during a walk that needs improvement. Those observations can be captured through the application or through the from view of the Observations table - which is also used by the application.

A second application is designed to follow-up observations by assigning new actions to it or do follow-up on actions that were previously assigned to an observation. it is of course also possible to do this follow-up through the database.
