Contribute to Baserow

Thank you for your interest in contributing to Baserow blog! We’re always on the lookout for creative contributors to join us. Here is all the information you need to know.

Baserow Blog focuses on maximizing your database and automating your processes. Our goal is to help users operate more effectively and move forward quickly.

Who are you writing for?

Baserow is intended for anyone who uses databases at work. This includes everyone from an entrepreneur to a sales executive at a mid-sized company to the operations team at a large organization.

How do you benefit?

Our website receives more than 100,000 views per month. You are allowed to discuss your business and add links that improve SEO in your article. Adding a backlink to your article can help improve your backlink profile and raise your domain authority.

You can extend your reach and demonstrate your expertise. Your brand will be exposed to a new, focused audience and put in front of people who are interested in the open-source and no-code industry.

We promote blog articles across all of our social media platforms. You can expand your social media audience by amplifying your published post on your own accounts. Along with the article, your details and contributor bio will also be visible.

How to prepare blog posts

Depending on the context, posts can be anywhere between 800 and 2,500 words long.

We give preference to submissions from authors who have direct knowledge of the subject they are writing about. You should have the writing style and ability to relate professional experiences to actionable advice in a distinct way.

All guest posts must be unique content that has not been previously published.

Review our submission criteria and style guide before sending in a draft and take a look at some of our existing content.

Writing topics

Baserow welcomes pitches and submissions from users and experts leveraging the power of a database. Topics include but are not limited to:

  • Tutorials: How-to articles highlighting the extended features/possibilities of Baserow
  • Automation: How to build automated workflows and processes using Baserow webhook and API functions
  • Integrations: Share how you use Baserow integrations to manage your work or business, why you find them useful, and how others could use them to boost their impact
  • Use cases: Tell your story about your projects, how you use Baserow and actionable tips that have improved the productivity of you or your team
  • Formulas: How to work with complex calculations, sorting, and filtering using formulas
