If you’re a designer, content creator, brand manager, or work in marketing in some capacity, you understand how important it is to ensure a brand is as consistent and professional as possible. As your brand and business expand, so does the size of your digital asset library. It’s not unrealistic for a business or brand to amass hundreds (or even thousands) of digital marketing resources in a short period of time. And managing them can be a problem.

This template helps you build and maintain an organized brand asset management database. Keep track of logos, fonts, copy, audio, video, and even the people who created these assets. With this template, the messy task of managing brand assets becomes straightforward and organized.

The table Assets is the main table in this template. It contains links to most of the other tables of the template. For example: an asset is designed and approved by one or more Authors. It belong to one or more Categories and has one or more Files.

The tables Messaging and Style guides are for specific assets. A link to the Messaging table will only be provided for textual assets such as a slogan or mission statement. A link to the Style guides table is for basic assets such as the brand colors palette and typography.

The tables Usages and Platforms keep track of the usage of your assets with a start date and an indication if they are still in use or not. This allows you to immediately detect where an updated asset should replace older versions.

Each table comes with multiple views allowing you to get the best insights in the data. Explore and customize these predefined table views to make keeping track of all your digital branding resources easier and more efficient.
