The PPWR Compliance template helps manufacturers and brand owners prepare for the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2025/40), which has applied since August 2026. It connects every product to the packaging it uses, every packaging unit to its components and suppliers, and every component to the documents that prove compliance. At a glance you can see which products are compliant today and which gaps must be closed before the 2028, 2030 and 2038 deadlines.

A library of PPWR requirements, from PFAS and heavy-metal limits to recycled content and recyclability grades, drives one assessment per packaging unit and requirement. Statuses are calculated from review results and supplier evidence, so expired or missing documents show up straight away. Automations create assessments for new packaging, open corrective actions when a check fails, and flag documents 60 days before they expire.

The included portal gives compliance managers, quality reviewers and procurement teams their own access: an overview of products and open issues, detailed packaging pages, a personal action list and a review form.

Use it to replace spreadsheet-based packaging compliance, prepare technical documentation and EU declarations of conformity, chase supplier declarations, or plan packaging redesigns ahead of upcoming targets. The requirement library is a starting point, not legal advice.
