Baserow 1.6: Formula and multiple select field types

The highly anticipated 1.6 release of Baserow introduces two exciting new field types: formula and multiple select. These additions have been heavily requested, and we are thrilled to finally share them with you.

Formula field

The formula field allows you to perform dynamic calculations based on the values of other fields in the same row. With 30 core functions available at launch, you can perform numerical, conditional, text, and date-based calculations. And don’t worry, formula fields can be filtered, sorted, and searched just like any other field type. For more information, check out the formula field documentation.

Multiple select field

We are also excited to announce the launch of our new community forum, where you can engage in discussions and provide feedback. Whether you want to chat about self-hosting, templates, or stay up to date with our latest announcements, we invite you to join our community. We welcome support questions, feature requests, and even sharing your own plugins or integrations.
